Dr. William “Ed” Kois Receives Award Posthumously
Recently, the late Dr. William “Ed” Kois, a client and friend of our firm, was honored posthumously with the Nackey S. Loeb First Amendment Award. Dr. Kois, along with a group of doctors and employees at the Manchester VA Medical Center, was instrumental in exposing poor conditions and substandard care at the hospital. Attorney Andrea Amodeo-Vickery vigorously represented Dr. Kois and the other Whistleblowers from the earliest stages of a Whistleblower complaint that resulted in sweeping changes to the VA Medical System on a local and nationwide level. Below, you’ll find a tribute video created for the Award Ceremony, which was held at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, New Hampshire, on November 19, 2019.
